The Story
Lead with the cost, not the résumé.
Most of what you'd read about me is the highlight reel. This is the part that actually formed the work.

I built a company to $50M. I pastored the whole time. For a long stretch, both were growing and I told myself that meant everything was fine.
Then someone inside the business stole from us. Not a small amount. The FBI got involved, and what followed was a year of interviews, records, lawyers, and a lot of quiet mornings where I had no idea what to say to my own family.
We scaled down on purpose. That decision was harder than the growth ever was, because growth has a language and shrinking doesn't. You learn who your friends are. You learn what your identity was actually attached to.
I came out of it with a thesis I can't stop teaching: almost all success advice is about getting to the top. Nearly none of it is about the season after you arrive, when the thing you built starts taking things back.
That's Convergence. Not motivation. Capacity. How a person with real responsibility stays whole when the numbers, the people, or the calendar turn on them.
I'm a pastor, so faith is in this. I don't hide it and I don't weaponize it. If you're not a person of faith, the work still holds. If you are, you'll recognize what's underneath it.
